I enjoyed my stay in a surprisingly spacious room with a comfy bed and a sleek bathroom that made relaxing a breeze. The hotel had a cozy lounge perfect for unwinding and a game room that kept the fun going. Just a minor note, the curtains could do better at blocking out early morning light—bring a sleep mask if you're sensitive to that! 🙂

Is it hype or the real deal?

Free parking and easy access to shopping and dining make the location convenient for families. The family room was large, accommodating our needs comfortably while remaining tranquil despite proximity to a main road.

Limited breakfast choices left us wanting more variety, and our late-night self-check-in via a kiosk felt impersonal after a long journey.

I really liked the steff of the hotel, really kind and polite. I loved the morning breakfast and the excellent bus service from the hotel to the centre of Aarhus. If you need any information you can ask the staff. My room was a single smoking room and I found it nice, a park for a little smoking taste in the air but I chose it. Every day the room was cleaned.

The room (and especially the bathroom) were quite old, and need to be freshed up.

The breakfast was an absolute joke, so limited it forced me to find grocery store snacks. There was no air conditioning. Honestly, i expected a complimentary room upgrade for all my troubles, but clearly, that was too much to ask. Just couldn't give a good review.

The staff was amiable and we would like to stay there on the next trip. Newly renovated venue, perfect location near to many restaurants and supermarkets, a business area close to an Aldi's and other grocery stores, ATMs, and Arhus, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was not expensive with very good bread, meats & egg and the coffee from a machine, perfect to start our day. It was new-fashioned, beautifully designed and where the children slept.

The staff were excellent, good English and very helpful. The breakfasts were also very good with plenty of fresh good food. The shower was good with plenty of hot water and beds were comfortable.

The room was very basic with no tea/coffee facilities. The bathroom sink had taps which were difficult to turn and the plug did not fit so that water ran away before you could wash.

Spacious family rooms.

For the price this is an excellent choice! It is very clean, easy and in a great location. Its basic but has everything you will need... hairdryer, tea and coffee, fridge etc. You can not go wrong with this hotel if price and location are top of your reasons to book list.

It was okay, but compared to other hotels closer to Aarhus center...Hotel Mercur was a bit old fashioned. But still it was an okay hotel.

The family room was spacious and allowed us to feel comfortable, especially with our little child. We appreciated the easy access to nearby grocery stores. The staff was attentive when we had questions.

In my wife's opinion, having a small kettle would be ideal for making tea or coffee.

An old hotel with no comfort or any other facilities.

Good location if you are looking to break a journey on the way to somewhere else. Easy to find from the main highway. Lots of parking available for free. Friendly staff with a no-fuss check in and check out.

The hotel is rather utilitarian and showing its age. Still clean and adequate but no more than that. It feels more like a student dorm accommodation than a hotel. The single room had a bed built in shelf style against the wall for example.
